was made for you! Wearing a virtually flawless Superformance MK III body, this
awesome 48 mile 1965 Cobra utilizes high quality hand laminated fiberglass
construction techniques to create a rock solid roadster with a noise-free
driving experience. The cars stiffly reinforced body panels feature the smooth
surfaces and typically tight panel gaps that we've come to expect from a top
notch Cobra replica; and its excellent fit and finish is a testament to both the
OEM quality of Superformance and the true talents of Olthoff Racing. Tilt open
the tailored fiberglass hood and you'll find a brand new $13500 Roush
Performance 408R that was machined, balanced, assembled and dyno tested before
being professionally installed by Olthoff Racing. At the top of the motor, a
billet Roush air cleaner holds a reusable filter element above a coated Holley
770 4-barrel carburetor which is piped fuel via braided lines, billet filters
and a chrome mechanical pump. Below that carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum
intake sits next to polished Roush AFR 185 heads which wear both high
performance roller rockers and great looking Roush billet valve covers. Below
those heads, a hydraulic cam, forged pistons, forged H-beam connecting rods and
a forged 4340 crank transform 93 octane pump gas into a beautiful small block

This 560 horsepower supercharged 427 replica is a fully sorted and expertly
detailed show car that wears a licensed Shelby body and features autographs from
both Carroll Shelby himself and legendary engine builder Jack Roush. When you
take a car to SEMA, you're displaying in front of hundreds of the most skilled
and influential car guys in the world. Every part of the car has to be flawless
and EVERYTHING about the cars build has to be absolutely perfect. This '65 Cobra
began with exceptionally solid fiberglass that doesn't show any signs of waves
or ripples. On top of that fiberglass, an even and smooth gel coat provides an
excellent canvas for the cars wet-look Pepper Gray paint and a killer set of red
and silver racing stripes. Once that spectacular paint was buffed to a brilliant
shine, proper finish work ensured that this laser-straight re-creation looks
every bit as good as the old school aluminum 427 Cobra it replicates. But enough
about the trim, let's get to the REALLY amazing part of this Cobra. The cars
fresh 351 Windsor V8 has been bored and stroked to 408 cubic inches, features an
8.5 to 1 compression ratio and puts out a dragon slaying 560 horsepower and 575
lb./ft. of torque! The top end of the motor is beefed up by a Paxton Novi 1200
