132642 / 1957 Pontiac Bonneville
Named in honor of the salt flats where speed records have been set for decades,
this fuel injected 1957 Pontiac is one of the rarest and most desirable 50s
collector cars ever produced. Fresh out of a complete frame off restoration in
which not a penny was spared, this Pontiac is decidedly one of the most
impressive cars I've ever seen. The smooth Harley Earl designed body panels are
completely free of any waves or blemishes and the cars straight and narrow panel
gaps are likely much better than what came from the factory 54 years ago. On top
of the clean body, familiar Kenya Ivory paint, worn by all 1957 Bonnevilles,
displays an excellent shine. And on the sides of the car, Bonneville Red
'splashes' complete a look that was shared by most of the 630 cars produced.
Under the hood of this '57 Bonneville you'll find an original 347 cubic inch
fuel injected V8 with a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio and, according to Pontiac,
'over 300 horsepower'. On top of the motor, an original Rochester fuel injection
system receives cool air from a correct black "Pontiac" decaled air cleaner that
is piped to the front of the car and covered in steel mesh. In front of the air
cleaner, a correctly tagged Delco generator is spun by a new V-belt, and behind
the fuel injection system a correct points distributor sends spark through
correct black plug wires. On the left side of the motor, factory correct
standard power steering sits behind a correct black radiator which sends and
receives water ...

1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom
1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale! 1957 was the first year of the
Pontiac Bonneville and was offered only as a convertible and only with fuel
injection. When introduced on January 11th of 1957, the Bonneville was the
fastest Pontiac ever produced. This Bonneville is number 116 of the only 630
produced in 1957. This is probably the finest restored example ever offered for
sale. It has been treated to a correct frame-off/rotisserie restoration. Every
part of this car is 100% factory correct and numbers matching. Every component
was restored to as new or better condition. Most of the chrome was NOS and it
all, the interior and exterior was show chrome plated. The Bonneville is painted
in Kenya Ivory with a Tartan red interior. Boasts a fuel injected 347 300+hp V8,
Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, Wonderbar AM radio, a deluxe ivory steering
wheel, a padded dash, a clock, cowl vent, chrome wheel discs, and whitewall
tires. It has the total power group including a power-operated convertible top,
a power antenna, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and an eight-way
power-operated seat. This Bonneville was judged 396 out of 400 at the Pontiac
Oakland Club Nationals and has been awarded in every show it's been shown at.
The 1957 Bonneville is a very rare car. This Bonneville is one of the best of
its kind in the world - it is pristine museum quality. Don't miss your
opportunity to add this Bonneville to your collection. This car is located in

1965 Pontiac Bonneville Walk Around HD!!
This is the long-promissed follow up to my first video the 1965 Pontiac
Bonneville Walk Around. This one is in HD and has sound which - for the most
part is just annoying because of the amount of wind that day. Sorry about that!
Anyway I'm sorry it took so long to get this thing posted, but I hope it brings
back some memories for some and inspires others. I think these full size
Pontiacs are some of the best looking cars of the '60s! As always - your
comments are appreciated. Have at it! If you know anything about the history of
this car let me know. It was purchased in the Portland, OR / Northern Cal. area
back in '65. Stayed in that area until 2005 when I purchased it from a very nice
gentleman out there and moved it to the east coast. Enjoy and feel free to post
walk arounds of your own '60s iron - I love looking at these cars! And YES -
that tire squeal at the end was added in for fun :-) Or else I would have hit
that Trans Am in front of me!
