1962 Ford Falcon Futura STK 127-ATL.mpg
Ford's first attempt at bringing the American public a small economic yet
performance oriented automobile led to the creation of the Ford Falcon. The
Futura was Ford's high-end version of the Falcon and this beautiful and sporty
Red 1962 Ford Futura is a prime example as to why Ford used the Falcons chassis
and drive train in their early Mustang prototypes. This Futura sports a 302ci V8
under the hood that's mounted to a strong and smooth shifting C-4 automatic
transmission. Showing only 40681 miles, this little piece of muscle is ready for
many more miles of driving fun. Restored in 1999, this stunning classic that
helped spawn the iconic Mustang sports a custom gray cloth interior with front
bucket seats, new headliner and custom door panels. An upgraded Pioneer AM/FM/CD
player keeps the tunes flowing and the B&M floor mounted shifter keeps you
planted in the back of your seat as you power on down the road. A chrome finned
center console really helps set this interior off and the added water temp, oil
and battery volt gauges keeps your eyes on the cars vitals that help ensure many
more miles of driving fun. Converted from 4-lug over to the more desirable
5-lug, this Futura sits on chrome aluminum wheels that are wrapped in fresh
radial tires that keep you snug to the tarmac. A chrome air cleaner is pleasing
to the eyes when the hood is open and the true dual exhaust with chrome tips is
pleasing to the ears while cruising down the highway. The strong Ford 8" rear
end ...

132887 / 1965 Ford Falcon Futura
If you're looking for a fun classic that is as unique as it is cool, this
impressive '65 Ford is the incredible value you've been waiting for! When this
striking Futura rolled into our showroom, one thing was immediately apparent.
The quality of its restoration is top notch in every way; and whoever spent the
time hammering its solid body back into shape has either spent most of their
adult life in a body shop or restored more than their fair share of second
generation Falcons. From the top of its smooth roof to the bottom of its cool
Turquoise body, this car is much straighter than when it rolled out of Ford's
Lorain, Ohio manufacturing facility and features a great looking coat of
urethane paint which displays virtually no flaws. The car's reliable but basic
6-cylinder engine was swapped for a larger 351 Cleveland four valve V8 that
looks great covered in a thick coat of traditional Ford Blue paint. And its
clean engine bay was fitted with an assortment of dress up pieces, which range
from gray hood hardware to polished stainless fuel lines, and then refinished in
the same slick Turquoise urethane as its glossy exterior panels. The 351 gets
its air and fuel from an Offenhauser aluminum intake which props a Holley
4-barrel carburetor below a chrome topped, satin black dual snorkel air cleaner.
Fire is provided by a traditional points distributor that sends spark through
eight Autolite Pro Fit premium plug wires which snake around finned aluminum
Ford Racing valve covers ...
