For sale is a professionally rebuilt in the USA alternator for75-80 MERCURY MONARCH. THIS UNIT WILL REPLACE SMALL CASE (TYPICALLY 40-60 AMP) UNITS. IT WILL NOT REPLACE THE LARGE CASE, 70 AMP UNITS (WHICH ARE EQUIPPED WITH A T-SHAPED PLUG).
THIS ALTERNATOR IS AN UPDATED, EXTERNALLY REGULATED, HIGH AMP ALTERNATOR THAT REPLACES OLDER, LOWER AMP, EXTERNALLY REGULATED FORD ALTERNATORS.
OUR UNIT IS ESSENTIALLY A MODIFIED LATER-DESIGN FORD 95 AMP ALTERNATOR THAT HAS HAD THE INTERNAL REGULATOR REPLACED WITH A SPECIAL BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY THAT ALLOWS IT TO BE USED TO REPLACE LOWER AMP (60 AMPS OR LOWER) EXTERNALLY REGULATED FORD ALTERNATORS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR CONVERTING THE CHARGING SYSTEM TO AN INTERNALLY REGULATED DESIGN.
OUR UNIT OFFERS HIGHER LOW AND HIGH RPM AMPERAGE OUTPUT, EXTENDED DURABILITY, AND LARGER DIODES AND HEAT SINK FOR IMPROVED HEAT TOLERANCE. ADDITIONALLY INTERNAL AIR FLOW EFFICIENCY THROUGH THE ALTERNATOR IS IMPROVED DUE TO OUR UNIT BEING EQUIPPED WITH AN INTERNAL COOLING FAN. THE EXTERIOR FAN ON YOUR ORIGINAL UNIT WILL NOT NEED TO BE TRANSFERRED ONTO OURS.

THIS UNIT WILL BE SENT OUT WITH A SINGLE V-BELT PULLEY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO SEND THE ALTERNATOR OUT WITH A PULLEY THAT MATCHES YOUR ORIGINAL ONE, PLEASE MESSAGE US WITH PHOTOS, MEASUREMENTS AND DESCRIPTION, ETC. IN MOST CASES, YOUR ORIGINAL PULLEY SHOULD TRANSFER ONTO OUR UNIT WITH NO ISSUE.

We are selling this unit outright, so a core exchange is notneeded. The alternator itself carries a 3 YEAR WARRANTYagainst issues with craftsmanship or components. Additional expenses such as labor, towing, etc. are NOT covered under the warranty. As with all alternators, please make sure to install this unit into a vehicle that has a fully charged, load tested battery, as well as clean and tight electrical cables, terminals, grounds, and pigtail alternator harness. We cannot warranty units that are damaged due to issues with the vehicle itself or negligence on behalf of the installer.
