Originally Produced in 1964 (as a 1965 model), the car made history in its looks, style and performance. The car struck a nerve in... the American psyche and paved the way for an entirely new generation of cars for the younger 60’s carefree generation. It was a car that stressed fun and economy while offer excellent performance and good looks. In order to pay homage to this legacy, Ford created the 50th Anniversary edition. Only 1964 copies of the 2015 Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition were sold, and they all came in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. The car is based on the GT coupe and included the Performance pack, which includes on six-piston front Brembo calipers, 19-inch wheels, and sticky Pirelli P Zero rubber. GT spec naturally means a 5.0-liter V-8, too. Ford only stating that it will make more than 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. Other baubles include additional chrome trim for the taillamps, grille, and side glass. One cool trick: To emulate the louvers of the original car, the quarter windows are rendered using three layers of glass. The car’s Y-shaped wheels are meant to echo the chromed steelies offered on the original. The interior rundown includes cashmere—yes, Ford says “cashmere”— stitching on the steering wheel, instrument panel, and other surfaces. The seats are two-tone cashmere and black leather, the owner’s manual nuzzles inside a leather folio and the floor mats have cashmere stitching suede binding. Mustang anniversary shout-outs include logos on the seat backs, an exclusive faux gas cap on the rear fascia, and a numbered plaque on the passenger’s side. The interior also gets a specially turned aluminum trim panel across the dash.The car on offer here is a 2015 Mustang GT 5.0 “50th Anniversary Edition” with only 90 miles!!! You read that correctly, 90 miles!!! The car is in showroom condition, and is probably the finest on the market. Still under its full factory warranty, the car is in showroom condition.
