2004 MUSTANG GT
5 SPEED - 40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION!!
On April 17th 1964 at 9 pm - CBS, NBC, and ABC air the introduction commercial for the new 1964 Mustang. It was the most successful automobile launch of its time and created such a frenzy at the local Ford dealership the next day, Ford engineers, designers and laborers new that it was a massive hit. From that day on sales took off, year over year. Looking back on its debut, the Ford Mustang always stayed true to its heritage. It was to be the personal family sports car that supplied seating for 4. But as time went on, the back seat was rarely used and what became priority was shoving as many horses under the hood as Ford could. The Mustang adopted names such as GT 500, Mach 1 and the Boss. Even Carol Shelby hung his hat to the nameplate! And now some 53 years later, the Mustang still seizes to amaze it admirers.

Exterior:
The exterior of the car is in very good condition for being 13 years old. It does have some dings and nicks (see photos and video) but overall presents well. The headlights are foggy but all lights work properly. The glass is all intact and free of damage. The wheels are special to the 40th anniversary and are in very good shape with some road rash. Tires are decent except one side wall. But overall, a great vehicle for the price, heritage and shape. Let us know of any questions you may have.
Interior:
The interior, as the exterior, is in good overall condition. The seat bolster is worn with some leather tape on it. The carpet is ok with some wear as well. The driver\'s door panel needs some attention to make it perfect but is very functional. Other wise the interior is very good for its age. See the photos and video. It really goes in depth. Drive-Train:
It has the very durable and efficient 4.6L v8. It supplies close to 300 horse and runs and sounds excellent. The clutch seems good and it does have a minor power steering wine to it when you turn. Steering is tight as is the suspension. All power components work including A/C, heat, power windows and locks. Also the power seat operates well too. The emergency brake will need attention. In summation.....I know I only really describe what is wrong with the car, but all are minor tinkering projects that are not a big deal......at all. I wanted to be transparent, as I always am, in explaining this car. With very few dollars, this vehicle could be show ready. That\'s the beauty of a Mustang.....no matter what year they are they are always allowed into car shows and you can put them on Collector\'s Insurance. Plus you can do it with modern creature comfort such as gas mileage, power and efficiency. This Mustang has all the right ingredients......First...its a GT - V8, second.....its a 5 Speed and third.....its the Anniversary Edition!! We offer temp tags with proof of insurance. There is a $20 Doc Fee that you will add to the purchase price of the vehicle at the time of pic up. If you are a NJ Resident, you have to add 6.875% sales tax to the purchase as well. If you are out of state, you pay your tax rate when you get it home we do not collect that.
