One of the nicest Eldorado\'s you will find 2001 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe, 82,500 miles 300 horsepower Northstar engine, 2000-2002 Northstars are trouble free, they got all the head gasket issues ironed out. Active suspension shocks.Rare color combination ,you don\'t see too many Silver with Black leather interior Eldorados.These are geting harder to find .I am changing careers and now need a pickup truck to start my new business. I believe I am either the 2nd or possibly 3rd owner. I bought the car with 58,00 miles 2 years ago from an older women who kept it garaged and barely drove it. She had the transmission rebuilt at 32,000, not sure why but it shifts beautifully. No accidents,original paint , just detailed the entire car. non smoker, Body is excellent with only 2 small dings, 1 on door 1 on the hood the rest of the body is super clean.Very few chips in the paint. Several scratches way under the lower rear bumper cover, front bumper cover no scratches. Interior is also very very nice. Back seats looks like no one ever sat on it.Rugs and interior is super clean. Everything works on the car and this car is loaded. it has every option offered in 2001. Onstar, power sunroof, Bose stereo with 12 disc changed in trunk, heated seats, Zebrano wood trim ,Leather seats, power everything. List price back in 2001 was almost $45,000 Cars drives like a dream.THIEF license plate was transferred from my 85 Eldo that I sold, it\'s from the movie Thief with James Caan.Car gets up 21 mpg on the highway.
I have replaced the following items in the past 2 years, AC DELCO pads and rotors front/rear,oil change with Synthetic oil, transmission new fluid and filter, new battery, new alternator, new irdium spark plugs, new water pump, new intake throttle body rubber flange, air filter,rear shocks passive style with life time warranty. Tires are all very good with lots of tread left. Car is excellent in the snow .No rust on this car, undercarriage very clean. Just passed NJ inspection good until 4/2019
I have owned 3 of these touring coupes so I know a lot about fixing them. The only issue I am having is the DIC( Driver Information Panel) scrolls message \"Speed limited to 90 miles per hour\" From what I have read this is a result of failing front struts.The struts seem fine on this car, no leaks and they only have 83k miles on them. You could install new passive aftermarket struts , I recommend Arnott brand struts and they are only $200 for the pair. I installed these on the rear and was very happy with them.My last ETC I got 220,000 miles out of it. Winning bidder pays $500 within 24 hours of auction completion. Car can also be seen in Ridgefield,NJ where I work. Car is being relisted due to non paying high bidder. $500 deposit required NON-REFUNDABLE .Car can be seen Monday- Friday between the hours of 8-11 am in Hope or 1PM- 9PM in Ridgefield NJ. Sat/Sun 10 am- 5 pm
