1980 Triumph TR8 convertible Wild pro built TR8Body is very nice with no rust striped and painted with a base clear and buffed to a brilliant shine. All glass is near perfect. I noticed a couple of small chips but paint is very nice overall. There is a small chip in the rear tail light lens. All stainless has been painted black. The Top is nearly new and fits well windows are very clear. INTERIOR has been redone with leather seats custom door panels and leather wrapped steering wheel.New carpets . Gauges are clear and work fine .Temperature and oil pressure have been updated with custom gauges. Sound system is very powerful and a pull out unit with cd player and new speakers. Heater and lights work fine. The air conditioning unit was not reinstalled when the car was restored but comes with the car. Wipers work fine. ENGINE is the all aluminum v8 that was built with the best of everything .All new internals, High lift cam new Edelebrock intake and Holley carb. Engine was balanced and blueprinted. I believe it also has the Buick heads. New hei electronic ignition. Headers with dual exhaust. The engine was built by a shop in Vancouver Washington that specialized in building these v8s for sprint boats .It runs without hesitation and catches its revs faster than any small block chevy that i have ever seen. Its very fast!!! - Transmission is the original 5 speed that shifts great. Rearend was completely gone through with all new parts. New shocks. The car was lowered slightly in the front and rear. It handles like a slot car!!
Wheels are Boyd Coddington with new tires.Overall this is a very nicely restored car that was done a few years ago that looks great.It drives great and is very fast . Sounds wild and looks the part. Several people have mistaken it for a Ferrari . It Looks, sounds, and feels like one. We aotocrossed it a couple of times and it loves to eat the corvettes. It did well each time.This car has very few miles since it was restored it shows 7000 which i believe is correct .I have owned this car for many years and seldom drive it as i have several classic cars. I decided that it was time to thin my collection and let someone own the car that will drive it and enjoy it.Where will you find a nicer one !!!
