(EDIT 04/03/2018, 8:30 am: Some one messaged me to ask if they could fly out and drive it home.I would not recommend driving this across the country. Yes, this is a running driving car, but it is not registered or licensed. I has not been on the road for at least 30 or 40 years. It still needs some things looked at. For instance, I have the brakes working, but have not done a brake job and have not changed the pads. I bled the brake system and it works, but I suspect the power brake booster has a vacuum leak because the brakes feel like standard brakes. The engine starts right up and runs fine, but I have only driven it up and down the private road to my house. I have no idea how it will run on a long trip.)How many times have you seen cars on ebay with 3 pictures and barely a description? You buy the car and find out why. Let\'s just say there was a reason there was so little information. Or you buy a supposedly survivor car and after buying it you pull up the carpet to find holes in the floor board or a frame so rusted it disintegratesin your hands. I am going to be as transparent as possible, but understand this is a 45 year old car. If you have questions or need pictures let me know. I want you to know exactly the condition of the car.

Cowl brought this one back from the dead. This was built in October 1969, but was not sold until June of 1970. I am guessing it was a showroom car or one of the salesmen was driving it for 7 months. It is one of 544 with these paint and trim codes.
It had no engine, trans, PS, Alt, exhaust when I got it. I transferred a 351 cleveland 2V from a 71 Ranchero into it. It is a 1970 Block but 1971 heads and intake. It is a running driving project car. I own a few Torinos and know the car well. I really love this car and would like to take it to the next level, but I think it is time to let someone else take it from here. I intended to convert it to a bucket seat console car. My loss, your gain. I have other Torino\'s I need to get working on.
It appears all the pieces are here except the radio and seat-belts (I can give you the ones from the Ranchero, but they are green). I have seen so many of these cars and one of the best features of this car (if you know Fords) is the cowl is not rotted. You can pour water in the vents and none gets inside. The bad on this car is mice apparently made a nest in the back of the trunk lid. All their disgusting urine rotted the trunk lid and below so the trunk lid is a goner and there is rust in that location. I replaced the trunk lid.The only other rust spot is the passenger toe board. It appears the car had had body work done to the drivers rear quarter. I don\'t know when it was done, but it has held up really well. There is no rust there except for the drop down.
The good:Pretty solid body overall. No missing interior or exterior trim. HIDEAWAY HEADLIGHTS!
Missing:Radio and seat belts
The bad:Rusted trunk drip rails. Rusted trunk panels below the lights. Rusted driver trunk drop down panel. Rusted passenger toe board. Various dents.

Car is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. It is available for inspection by appointment only. I have done my best to describe it accurately but please understand that this is a 45 year old car that is not new and has not been restored. I tried very hard to describe it accurately and to make sure potential buyers have any information I would want as a buyer. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I have it for sale on my local craigslist. Full payment must be made within 5 days of auction end and vehicle must be picked up within 21 days of auction end unless prior arrangements are made. Payment by cash or wire transfer only. Shipping is the responsibilityof the buyer but I will help however I can.
