Pictured is my 1970 American Motors AMX 2 door hardtop. ThisAMX is as nice an AMX as you will find, especially for the money.
This car has the original, unmolested drive train showing 77K actual mileson the odometer and sportsthe factoryhigh performance 360ci 4 bbl engine, 4 speed transmission and posi-tractionrear end. This car comes with the veryrare factory air conditioning and an even rarer factory installed tilt steering wheel. This caris in exceptional condition throughout, with the car being completely professionally rewired last year using aircraft grade wiring, not some cheap after market kit. This was a special order car with the paint color being the AMC Special Ordered Moroccan Brown Metallic. Paint isless than a year one year old. Car has a tan interior and is only one ofabout twenty-five or so 1970 AMX\'s ordered with this Exterior/Interior colorcombination. All of the lights, bumpers, and trim were pulled off the car forpaint, then cleaned and reinstalled. This car comes with factory power frontdisc brakes and power steering. The power brake booster and master cylinder where also replaced. My AMX came to me with a Holley 4bbl, but also theoriginal carburetor which I had professionally re-manufactured by NationalCarburetors in Jacksonville, Florida and reinstalled on the car. The originalradiator was restored by Marion Radiator in Gainesville, Florida. Interior hasa new headliner, door panels, carpet, and re-upholstered seats with theinterior work being professionally done. Gages were alsocleaned up and the in-dash clock repaired and is fully functional. The dualexhaust is also less than a year old, as are the power brake booster, master cylinder, brakes, brake lines and the front and rear shocks. TheA/C system has a new compressor, condenser, and the original receiver/dryer was re-manufactured by Classic Auto Air in Tampa as the original drier is no longeravailable. Clear Florida title showingthe accurate actual mileage, not \"exempt.\" This AMX sports 15\" Magnum 500 wheels with the original center caps and period looking Red Stripe radial tires. The Data Plate reads as follows: Body: R015227,Model: 7039-7, Trim: 036F, Paint: 94A. A really fun car to drive. Any questionssimply ask.
