1968 El Camino Malibu,for sale by owner,this is not my car,listing for a friend,older Repaint job,Rebuilt 327/300 HP,2 speed automatic,100 miles on complete engine rebuild with receipts,95.000 original miles on car,was a 307 originally,have running original engine for buyer,Heater Motor and Battery tray are new,Interior is decent except cracks in dash pad,New driveshaft and U Joints,New Rear Axles,Bearings and seals,New Billstein Shocks,Front Brakes are new,Master cylinder new,wheel cylinders,and brake lines new.New Mufflers,heat riser,new tires,. Once again this in not my vehicle,so i took another long look at the vehicle as a potential buyer would.Other than the fact i have too many cars already i would own this car. Checked front center frame condition under the engine,it is very nice,no sign of jack crush or running over obstacles,very nice condition cosmetically.The bed floor is very nice,no distortion,the edges do need resealed.Roof and hood are very straight.Doors are hung well.Rocker Panels are very nice.New Fluid in rearend. Radiator flushed and cleaned. New motor mounts.Has brand New $200.00 Gm HEI.All lights work even reverse.New sending unit in tank,Tank Cleaned,no rust.Windshield good.New Headliner.Both front fenders need lower bolt area traditional rust repair.Small rust repair area needed front and rear of right rear wheel opening area.Very nice floorboards.All in all a very nice car.
