1964 Mercury Comet Excellent Condition This car has never been raced. Built to street cruise. I\'m the third owner of this car. The first owner was literally a little old lady when it had a 6 cylinder in it. I purchased it from the guy the built it up and installed the V-8. The car has 49,956 original miles on it and is virtually rust free. There are several pin holes (see photos) in the drivers side toe board. Floors, trunk, frame, inner fenders and everything else are in excellent condition. Paint is in nice condition ( Wimbledon White single stage) but is an inexpensive MAACO job. Jambs, under hood/ trunk lid were never sprayed . A couple paint nicks but the car looks great. It gets attention at all of the car shows I\'ve had it to. Wipers, high beams, low beams, tail lights/brake lights, interior light, gauge lights, turn indicator lights and all gauges including tach all work properly.Original working AM radio is installed but not hooked up. Engine is a .030 over 1985 302 with 10:1 lightweight pistons installed. Deep sump 8qt oil pan. Headman Tri-Y headers into 2 1/2\" pipes and Cherry Bomb mufflers. Has an awesome sound! Cooled through a ProComp 4 core aluminum radiator. Never runs hot. Heads are 1994 Ford gt40P with double valve springs, 1:6 roller rockers, SVO 7/16\" hardened pushrods, and SummitRacing roller lifters. A 600cfm Holley carb on top of an Edelbrock dual plane RPM Air Gap manifold. MSD CDI Ignition. Ford Racing M-6250-F303 camshaft (see internet for specs). Trans is a T-5 with hardened input and output shafts, a Fidanza billet aluminum 12lb flywheel, heavy-duty clutch disc and a Centerforce pressure plate. Hurst 5 speed shifter , 8\" Ford rear with Richmond 3:55 gears and a PowerTrax posi unit. Heavy duty axels. Crites leaf spring relocation kit, heavy duty 5-pack leaf springs, 3 way adjustable shocks in the rear, Shelby Specialties traction bars, 90/10 shocks up front, bolt-in sub-frame connectors Wheels are Jegs ProStar style wheels 15x4 up front with skinnies and 15x8 in the rear. 10\" drum brakes from a 67 Fairlane GT all around. Fuel tank has been completely reconditioned and internally coated ($300+) Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I\'d like you to inspect the car in person before bidding.
