This iconic finned Caddy convertible has been treated to quite a bit of work over the last year. There is a new white power operated soft top, new red & white vinyl interior, newer white paint, new wide white wall tires, engine rebuild, and lots of new chrome trim pieces. The repaint is high quality, the interior has all new upholstery, carpet, and dashboard cover. The chrome bumpers are in great shape with little to no pitting. The odometer reads 11,300 miles but actual mileage is unknown. This car rides and drives great, the engine is healthy, runs smooth, and doesn\'t smoke. The transmission shifts as it should, the suspension, brakes, and steering all operate as expected. Although there has been a lot of time and money put into it, this example is by no means perfect, the climate control and radio are currently inop, the trunk is missing a liner and spare tire, the passenger side fender mounted turn-signal indicator light is missing, and the new top needs to be stretched a bit so it can latch to the windshield header more easily. It\'s priced with room to bring it to the next level. I recently saw the same car in Scottsdale with an exceptional frame-off restoration for sale, priced at $78k. I\'ve driven several classic cars of all types and it amazes me how much love this particular car gets when out cruising around. People just adore these 19 foot long finned American classic ragtops.
