Description 1952 Hudson Hornet Club Coupe

This 1952 Hudson Hornet Club Coupe was restored with a nod toward the fabulous NASCAR-winning Hornets of the 1950's. Finished in Hudson Burgundy Maroon body with Ebony Black top and Toro Red and chrome wire wheels, it is a striking combination. All chrome was re-plated and stainless trim polished. As can be seen in the photos, it's a knockout.
The interior was upholstered in fine red leather, with red leather and gray fabric door panels. Optioned with Hudson radio and heater/defroster, plus Hudson tissue dispenser, along with dashtop tachometer and period Stewart-Warner Motor-Minder vacuum gauge for a great custom/racing look. Tinted glass all-around. Outside options include Hudson sun visor with inside traffic light viewer, rear fender skirts, wheel trim rings. Dual backup lights. Coker radial whitewall tires. Period speed-equipment decals on the rear side windows and hand-painted "Bad Hornet" mascot on the trunk lid, complete the 1950's mild custom look.
Under the beautiful louvered hood, the rebuilt Hudson 145 horsepower flathead 6 engine has the optional aluminum domed cylinder head with 7.2:1 high compression with "Twin H Power" dual carburetion and correct labeled oil bath air cleaners. In addition, this car is equipped with the optional Dual-Range Hydramatic Automatic Transmission and 1954 Hudson Power Steering was added. This car runs and drives beautifully. It's smooth, powerful and FAST, with great acceleration. Plus the ease of the automatic transmission and fingertip parking with the power steering, it's a great package for highway touring, around town, or even at vintage racing events. Has seen minimal use since restoration. Ready to drive anywhere.
