1963 Pontiac Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe
'63 Pontiac Acadian SD aka "Shakey II" . Here is a brief talk and walk around of
my restoration project with engine specs, previous modifications, and
demonstrating the convertible top mechanism. This car might not look like
anything special right now, but it is extremely rare - the canadian version of
the Nova SS. Convertibles were a Limited production in 1962 and 1963 only.
Details: 5 litre 305 CI V8 Small Block Chevy (almost all stock) slightly higher
HP camshaft, with all new bearings, lifters, oil pump, timing gears and chain,
gaskets, seals, rings. Everything required to bring to as new condition, with
some nice extras like locking valve stems, 1.6 ratio rockers and tranny cooler,
oversized 3 row radiator, monte carlo front clip including
suspension/steering/braking and modified 10-bolt chevy rearend to replace the
glass pumpkin original (breakable!) rear end. New leaf springs, gas tank, fuel
sending unit. All new fuel lines, tranny lines, brake lines. New Floor pan,
midpan, trunk pan. Many new pieces of sheet metal. Dual Exhaust with glass packs
(cherry bombs.) Needs all new wires from front to back. Alot of work already
completed, and alot of work left to be done!

Rat Rod Hot Rod Comes Home!
1963 Pontiac Acadian Beaumont Sport Deluxe. Our Ratty Hotrod project classic
muscle car comes home (Finally!) after nearly 10 years spent in storage. We
loaded it slowly onto a flatdeck with a chainhoist, strapped her down, took her
on the road, and then heaved her off and pushed her into the garage where she'll
eventually be restored to her former glory.

LS2, LS7 heads, cable throttle body, tube chassis front end, 5 link, ford 9",
custom built trans etc etc etc. roughly 550hp at the flywheel.
