Slow Buick creams a GT-500
OK, "creams" is an exaggeration. The first race against an Eclipse, the 95 Buick
Roadmaster spun the tires badly in the right lane and had a very slow time, but
still managed to win against the little turbo car. The second race with the
Buick on the pit side launched well while the GT-500 reacted slowly, and spun
the tires. This, gentlemen, is why launching is so critical. Would you want your
muscle car beat by a grocery car? Not a bad run for a nearly 5000 lb car though.
