Up for grabs isa 52mm bored & ported GM TPI throttle body – 750cfm for motors up to 475hp
Fits: 1985-1992 Camaro, Z-28, Firebird, Trans Am, and Corvette w/ 305 or 350 TPI motor - Both linkage styles shown available
Bolts to your stock intake with no modifications to intake or ECM - Great for stock motors, or modified motors up to about 400hp. Will support more HP, but consider our 54mm throttle body for these applications
This is an exchange item meaning you either pay the refundable core charge listed below for advanced exchange (we ship our bored throttle body first), or you can send in your stock, rebuildable throttle body core for modification and no core charge You will need to add the refundable core charge to your payment for advanced exchange (add it to your paypal payment in the seller additions box). Complete return instructions will be included with our shipment and your core charge will be refunded within 7-10days of receipt of your stock, good condition TB. If you do not have an exchange or you want to keep your core, simply pay the core charge and you are done. We can also bore your TB to avoid the core charge - instructions are emailed to the winner bidder by ebay - turn around is usually about 10 days from receipt and core checkin depending on shop load.

Up for bid is a 52mm bored GM TPI throttle body w/ rebuilt throttle shaft for your 1985-92 TPI motor (core charge or exchange required) - more torque, more horsepower, more air. Unique to our throttle body is we machine the throttle shaft/casting and fit w/ a new undersize bearing for smooth trouble free operation, no vacuum leaks, and stable idle. The undersize bearing compensates for worn throttle shaft we find with all used throttle bodies. Worn/Loose throttle shaft is the most common cause of unstable idle in other aftermarket throttle bodies. Don't get stuck w/ an inferior throttle body. Get our "better than new" unit and enjoy years of trouble free performance.
How Much can I expect?
· Crisper throttle response, better low end, and higher rev potential
· Will handle 350cuin motors up to 700rpm, 383s to 6500rpm
· Excellent idle quality from throttle shaftrebuild & precision bore tolerances
· 15-20 hp on a stock motor
· 50-100hp w/ cam and mild head work - i.e. valves & hand port
· 100hp+ on hot 383ci and larger motors
· 350 cu-in motors can rev to 7000rpm = 465hp potential at 730cfm
· 383 cu-in motors can rev to 6500rpm = 485hp potential 750cfm

We will include return instructions with your shipment. You will need to return your unmodified core complete with core return sheet (filled out) to the address provided on the sheet. If these instructions are not followed, your refund will be delayed. Core will need to be in good condition with no broken screws for full credit

Exchanges, Returns, and shipping damage
Although it happens infrequently, we understand that at times you may order the wrong part, change your mind, or there is some other problem with the order such as shipping damge. For shipping damge, the item needs to remain with the buyer and all packaging needs to be kept for the shipping carrier to inspect. In the event the item needs to be returned for an exchange or refund, please box up the item in the original box, with original packaging and return with paperwork inside that includes a copy of the item page you made your purchase from, your complete contact info, and your paypal email address.
