
LS1 Motor Mount adapter plate. Used to retrofit the popular LS1 base engines into 60's, 70's,80's and early 90's vehicles that utilize the three bolt motor mount, such as small and big block chevy, and some V-6 mounts. All hardware included with my plates are either GR 8 or 10.9 Hardened. Plates are laser cut out of 5/16 A36 steel. SIMPLE DESCRIPTION
If putting LS1 in car/truck that was originally equipped with a small block or big block chevy, these plates are designed to bolt the early factory three bolt motor mount off the side of the factory motor. The 3/8 NC holes that are tapped in the top side of the plate (between the 82 degree bolt) are for the top 2 hole in your factory mount the bottom hole on you factory mount will bolt through the plate, into the block. If your car/truck did not come with a small or big block chevy factory, you will need to convert yourself over to this style mount.Ships Via USPS small flat rate box

I have used these in 1200 rear wheel horse twin turbo cars with out any issues, nobending under torque. The 5/16 plate is the thickness that it takes to locate the engine in the same height location as the existing small or big blocks crankshaft centerline.
