With this kit(plus a solid cam with new rockers), you will replace the weak, stock hydraulic lifters and have a higher top RPM engine limit!
You will need to hammer / press the inserts into the head, then mill / machine the inserts and lifter boss to 1/2" above the valve cover gasket surface. Every solid cam kit you have to do that for the added clearance for the lock nut.
Pinto, Mustang, Merkur, Capri, Granada, most tube chassis and Rangers trucks.
