The FutoFab Alternator Adjustment Strut is designed for use on Datsun L series engines, both 4 and 6 cylinder models. The adjuster has a range of 5.5” to 7”. It replaces the original adjustment bracket and can be used on other applications with a range of 5.5" - 7" that use 8mm (or 5/16”) mounting bolts. Due to varying vehicle specifications, some applications may require use of an alternate length belt to provide proper adjustment.
The adjustment strut is made of solid billet aluminum hex stock with chrome plated sperical bearing rod ends for along lasting finish.
Engine applications incude: L13, L14, L16, L18, L20B, L24, L26 & L28 and others applications that match the adjustmentrange and mounting bolt sizes.
