Fits: 1987-95 TBI 4.3L V6, 5.0L or 5.7L V8 found in most any GM TBI vehicle. A must have for your 383 stroker - We have nearly all V6 and SBC V8 linkages and TPS combinatons available - see below. This will be a direct bolt on to your TBI motor for the applications listed with no modifications needed to your harness or throttle linkage.
Your stock V6 SBC V8 throttle body is 42mm and flows a whimpy 480cfm, we bore these out to 46mm (actually 46.5mm) machine off the air hornsto acheive nearly 600cfm of flow - enough for motors up to 350hp. And if that's not enough, we rebuild the throttle shaft with new silicon bronze bearings which will last nearly forever.
This is great for stock (or close to stock) motors will work with your stock ECM/PROM for mild HP upgrades...just add our TBI adjustable fuel pressure regulator to compensate for the extra air. Or, for greater HP gains, add our custom PROM sold in our other auctions, a bigger cam andflow enough air for up to 350hp
Best of all....with proper tuning, you'll get better gas mileage too. That's right,we have found many TBI motors suffer poor mileage because of throttle shaft air leaks in worn throttle bodies causing air/fuel imbalances between cylinders.

Our46mm throttle body offers a 30% gain in air flow (over stock) and will give significant gains in low end torque for towing or rock crawling as well as a good boost in top end HP (16hp & 19ft-lbs torqueon a stock5.7L motor, and up to143 dyno proven HP on modified motors). This is a must upgrade for your stroked 383 too.
