You are bidding on apair of new headlight assy's for 1964 thru 1967 Corvette's. They will also work in the 1963's but not NCRS correct.These also have the part number stamped in them like the originals. Left side part number 3845787 LH and right side3845786 RH. They are made from the original GM dies. These are metal. They will fit correctly in all the midyear Corvette's.Motors are not included in this auctionbut areavsilable on another one of my auctions.they are complete andready to install. All the vendors sell this item for $1495 or more. The shipping is the responsibility of the buyer though if purchased and paid for in full before Aug18,I will drop it off I95anywhere between Bowling Green Fl and Carlisle PA for 1/3 the specified shipping cost.

Also please understand, GM did not imagine in there wildest dreams that matching numbers would be so important 40 or 50 years down the road. Say for instance engine parts. These parts came in from other manufactures and different GM locations by the thousands. The installers would start using them from the top of the pile and before they got to the bottom of that pile of parts another load came in and got mixed in with the first load and so on. Also lets imagine a engine was being assembled or taped and a drill, and a tap or bolt broke off in the block. The engine was sent to the repair shop that had one employee per shift working in it to repair these problem. The person that told me this was a GM employee that repaired these mistakes and said they were backed up 90 days. When GM got to the end of there year and they had a thousand carbs left over from 1964 do you think they threw them away or even changed there date codes. No they put them on the next years cars or they went to the parts dept and sold or installed as needed. All GM parts have a GM part number on it. That is a important factor. NCRS made the date codes important and as they need to be, keep in mind, I believe Nolan ounce said most of the Corvettes coming off the show room floor would not get 70 points if be judged today. There were a lot of possibilities when these cars were built and many of them outside NCRS’ s square.
