cool in your late 1957 Chevy with Classic Auto Air’s all new, ultra
high-performance “Perfect Fit” series in-dash heat, cool & defrost climate
control system! Inside the car, the bulk of the unit mounts in place of the
factory heater box.
This system looks like it belongs! The a/c & heater control is provided and
for those cars that have the deluxe heater controls, we even offer the option to
re-use them. For vents, you get two outboard under-dash ball louvers and a dual
slim-line under-dash mounted center louver assembly.
Floor and dash (bi-level) A/C, heat & defrost(Including dehumidified
defrost!) provide the driver with total air flow control. The systems most
unique feature is it’s larger and separate heater and A/C coils!
In the engine compartment, we supply an all aluminum parallel flow condenser
and Sanden’s latest highly efficient, state-of-the-art seven-cylinder
compressor! This feature rich system uses the highest quality,
latest technology components and was computer designed for maximum performance
and a “perfect fit!” designed for maximum performance and a “perfect fit!”

THIS SYSTEM IS DESIGNED
TO FUNCTION IN EXTREME HEAT and every part required to add this air
conditioning system to a non-air-conditioned car*,
including step-by-step installation instructions, full technical support, as
well as a three year system warranty! Designed
specifically for 134a, so you won’t ever have to worry about losing efficiency
by converting an R12 system to 134a… We’ve already done the hard part for you!
Don’t be fooled by cheap “hot-rod” units on the market!

As shown below, our systems are
engineered with
large separate A/C and heat coils just like factory air (OEM) systems.
Beware of small "Hot Rod" type systems with only one coil.
When part of the cooling coil is used as a heater, total system performance is
compromised and the heater tubes can freeze and burst. Flooded, ruined interiors
are never a concern due to this exclusive
Perfect Fit Series feature.
Remember, smaller is never better when it comes to coil/case size!
All mode doors are controlled by cables or electric servo motors. No
complex maze of vacuum pots, solenoids, relays, wire and vacuum
harnesses to understand and keep functioning. All mode doors and
shafts are a high temperature, glass filled, nylon extrusion - just like
OEM systems. This exclusive feature totally eliminates rusted out
small diameter shafts and doors that plague the competition.
Beware of "Throw-Away" type units that are totally
glued shut requiring you to purchase the entire dash unit rather than a
$10 part!
Highest quality OEM control cables
available. A stainless wire glides effortlessly within a nylon lined
housing that never needs lubricating. Built in adjusters are an
important and exclusive feature. Generic steel cables will rust
and bind up. Also, without adjusters, cables are hard to service and can
require dismantling the dash for periodic adjustments and lubrication.
When cables are not a practical design choice, servo motors to drive air
diverter doors are a simple and ideal solution.

life with far less noise. Heat sink mounted 3 speed resistor provides

Pulleys and engine fan are not
included & may be necessary.
Generally, engines with power steering will require 3 belt grooves on the
crankshaft pulley, 2 belt grooves on the water pump pulley. Cars without
power steering require 2 belt grooves on the crankshaft & water pump pulleys.
Engines with long water pump & driver's side mounted compressor will need
2-groove power steering pump pulley.

for most stock early 1980's & older V8 v-belt pulley engine setups. If
