1966 Ford Fairlane for sale on eBay
This is a 66 Ford Fairlane 500 XL GTA. Sold new and lived all its life in
Louisiana until recently. Original light yellow lacquer paint remains, though it
needs painting for sure. Surface rust over most of car. All body panels very
solid. No rust in bottom of fenders, doors, or qtrs. Original floors and trunk
pan look good, however trunk has some small holes. Dash pad, carpet, headliner,
seat covers, door panels are original. All in very good shape except carpet.
Original loop carpet in box laying in back seat. Wheels and hubcaps are original
to the car. All interior lights work as do the signal, brake, flashers, horn,
windshield wipers etc. This car runs very well. Could easily be a daily driver
with paint stabilization. Factory 390 with C6 auto. Motor, trans, rear brakes,
and front end excellent. Engine has been resealed (all new gaskets and seals),
and painted. New front seal in transmission. NO leaks!!! Would be an easy
restoration if thats your desire, or just paint the car, clean it up and have a
dynamite Fairllane GTA. Low miles ratified by tight original front end, very
little wear on steering wheel, seats, arm rest, dash, knobs, etc. Good bit of
paper work to support also. This is a muscle car of the past, and well worth

Walkaround of my 1965 Ford Fairlane
This video of my 1965 Ford Fairlane shows the other details of my car. This is
just to give you an idea of the interior and exterior, as well as the engine.
The motor is a crate motor by Smeding performance based off the 351 Windsor, and
is stroked to 392 ci The car doesn't have A/C yet but I plan on hooking
everything up in while. The gauges are from Stewart Warner, and include a
Tachometer and (from left to right) voltmeter, water temp, and oil pressure. The
shifter, is of course, a Hurst. The steering wheel is from Grant. I don't have a
radio in the car besides the factory unit.
