This is a heavy-duty cast steel or iron mounting bracket, commonly used on older \"small block\" Chevrolet or GMC V8 engines.
Cast into the bracket are the letters \"BC\", \"798738\", \"GMC\"
Told that it is used on \"Squarebody\" Chevrolet Trucks from the 1960\'s, 70\'s and 80\'s. Not sure if it is for a Long or Short waterpump setup. Measurements of the piece are in the description.
