This is 1 of 500 Daytona's ever built so dodge can go nascar racing. This is 1 of 6 with the SE (Special Edition) package and is documented with the winged warriors and shows as such in the list of every Daytona ever made!! This is a very nice rust free 23,000 original mile california car with owner history dating back to the early 1970's. The exterior is finished in Y2 yellow and complimented with a very rare black leather bucket seat interior. This car has the 375 horsepower 440 cubic inch motor backed with an automatic torqueflight transmission. The motor has an unstamped replacement warranty motor in it dated 2-2 1969, the car was built in May 1, 1969. It has a "s 440" stamped on the top pad which means special 440, it signifies as a high performance warranty 440 motor, and it still retains the original matching transmission and rear end. This car has a very rare California fresh air package which shows it was sold new in California and included dual snorkel intake and turn down exhaust tip to reduce noise pollution but have been changed to chrome tips for better looks. The body and paint on this car is nothing short of outstanding and original body panels line up as nice as any Daytona out there including the metal nose cone. The interior is excellent and all the gauges work. Mechanically this car runs drives and sounds great The only non-stock item are an electric fan to push air through the radiator at low speeds which these cars are not designed to be driven at and electric motors to help assist the headlamp doors to open. I have a perfect scanned copy of the original broadcast sheet, the original was found in another Daytona which is still owned by the original owner and he does not want to give up the broadcast sheet that was found in his car until he finds his broadcast sheet one day. I have all his contact information and have spoken to him personally to verify everything. The radio has been upgraded to a factory am/fm unit and works fine including the power antenna. The undercarriage on this car is original and unrestored but is in excellent condition with no issues of any kind.
