1970 Chevelle SS 396.Options Include >>> L34 396 (402) 350 hp motor, Z25/ZL3 Super Sport 396 package, M20 4 speed trans with original muncie shifter handle/hurst linkage + complete reverse lockout, 755 black bench seat interior, U14 full gauges, U63 am radio, U80 rear speaker, ZL2 cowl induction hood, G94 12 bolt 3:31 rear end.Paint is a true 75 75 Cranberry Red with D88 black stripes.
Drive train is all numbers matching with build sheet still glued to the door panel (Atlanta built car), window sale sticker, owner history, previous owners title and lots of documents with over 100 service records prooving the original 108,900 miles and services done in the past.Car is like a survivor car with no frame off but with one repaint, no options added as car is exactly like the way it left the factory as the build sheet. Original floors and body panels are still on the car. Paint/motor and transmission were all done once in 1993.
Paint shows beautifull with 2 stage clear coat on laser straight body.The under carriage is very clean with proper paint dabs/stickers and drive shaft stripes.
Under carriage still retains all the original brake and fuel lines that are rust free.
Chevelle also has the original Delco 2 piece rotors for the power disc brakes up front with the original GM dust shields,the original rear drum brakes dated January 1970 still survive on the back.
Car is well detailed and presents itself as a show car.
Car still has the original gas tank which i restored and took off for the first time last year and i also installed the spiral shocks on the rear suspension.Original north carolina car that was well kept and drives like new with great door/hood and trunk line gaps as original, also everything on the car works including radio/gauges/lights/horn/clock/cowl induction/back up lights etc....Interior is in mint condition and trunk has spare tire with complete jack assembly and trunk mat.
