This car can be shipped anywhere in the lower 48 in 10 days travel time! Tax retuns are only8 weeks away Gentlemen, dont let this beauty slip by!!

If you want a car that’s on top of the Overlooked Supercar list, you are looking at it. Why pay $36 to $45k for a bellybutton Camaro or even worse, $75 to $90k for an LS6...Yawn....Chevelle, when you can have a more affordable and rarely seen Big Block 4spd 67 Biscayne for far less!

If you cant remember the last time you saw one of these beauties, that’s probably because you never have! Please don’t confuse the much more prevalent 65/66 L72 Biscayne’s with the L36 equipped 67 Biscayne. That’s right, most 67 Biscayne’s were 4dr service mules relegated to Taxi and Police applications. And contrary to Urban Legend, the vast majority of the 38,000 Biscayne’s produced in 67 were six ‘holers with a three on the tree or 283/Glide cars, not 427 cars, yes even the Police Package cars. I know your great Uncle told you he had a total of three 1967 427 Biscayne’s that use to eat up Hemi Cuda’s all day, but that’s simply folklore my friend. In spite of his best Black Velvet induced story telling efforts to sell you that jargon, it never happened.

What did happen in 2006 however, was the beautiful conversion of this formerly equipped 6 cylinder 3spd car. Currently residing between the fenders is a fresh (ok, about 5k miles) solid lifter 468” dressed out like an era correct L36 427 (sans the headers/intake & distributor). I have all the receipts for the engine build-up. It has brutally quick throttle response and moves this lightweight behemoth with ease. With Hooker Super Comp headers and 2.5” inch full length Flowmaster exhaust, it idles with choppy authority and scares women & small children and sometimes even me at WOT! Like any 60’s vintage car ordered for D stock Automatic Drag Racing, this car has manual brakes and manual steering the way The General intended.

Backing the BB is a completely rebuilt M21 Muncie (yes I have the receipts for that too) as well as a Lakewood scatter shield enclosing the new HD clutch. In addition, it has a fully balanced driveshaft with new slip yolk & new HD U-joints. Finally, out back, another $1,400 was spent on the 12 bolt rear end with a brand new Eaton 3.73 Posi, new bearings and new axles. The entire drive train was built/assembled in 2006. It has roughly 5k miles on it, including the tires. The chassis has 88k miles. It is a stellardrivetrain that needs nothing!

The car has been sprayed in its original 67 only Sierra Fawn hue. With its painted 14” steel wheels and correct NOS poverty caps and redline tires, its just docile enough to lure unsuspecting competitors to a stop light challenge. By the time they roll up to the crosswalk with a grin on their face it quickly turns to a frown when they see the Legendary 427 cross flags on the fender announcing their imminent doom. By then its too late. (See, your Uncle is not the only one who can tell a tale).

But back to reality, like any car that someone other than myself did, I find myself nitpicking the paint. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the paint a weak 7 due to imperfections in the paint (dust water vapor) and slight blistering. On a car of this caliber, I personally would have spent $10k or more on the paint and body. My friends say I’m being too critical, (that’s code for anal retentive Im sure) and my 3rd wife says, "You simply cant be pleased".

Looking inside the car you’ll notice beautiful/correct NOS cloth Biscayne material on the seats. This is also in its original fawn color. The front/rear door panels are 1967 originals! As is the mint headliner. New carpet, NOS door sill plates, windlace, window trim, dash pad and package tray finish out the living quarters. Peering into the trunk you’ll see the solid, cancer free floors treated to correct spatter paint and era correct hounds-tooth mat. It is all original sheet metal in the trunk and floors.

The bumpers have been re-chromed and their fit and finish are perfect! The grill, hood molding, headlight bezels and tailightsare all N.O.S.

This car is an absolute head turning machine. If you don’t like attention, this car is not for you. Even non Bow Tie lovers consider forsaking their namesake just to get a glimpse of this beauty. This is a turnkey car that needs only you in the driver‘s seat. It is very roadworthy and starts with one revolution of the starter, everytime! It has made several recent 150+ mile roundtrip road trips to/from car shows and various events. It would certainly drive cross country if your brave enough to drive a car that gets 10MPG that far. Speaking of gas, the fuel tank and sending unit are also new.

This car was appraised @ $25,259 four years ago. That’s good news! That means hard working blue collar folk like you can afford it.The carhas been stored indoors and under cover since its restoration when not being driven. The question is, has the car gone down in value because of the economy?….or gone up in value like a fine wine with age? If you know collectible cars then you know its simply a matter of supply and demand. I’ll let the bidders decide. Please dont hammer me with questions regarding the reserve. Ive already provided pretty good clues. If you’re a man who knows what he wants, then stop dreaming and start bidding.Adding it to your watch list doesnt put it in your garage.

In closing, if you would like to schedule an inspection and/or your own appraisal, I am very flexible. I can also fax you a copy of the 2007 appraisal. The car is located in Mt Vernon, Washington. I am a private party who has an obsession with Classic Chevrolets. (My second wife called it a sickness) I have bought/sold over 20 cars on e-bay and maintained a 100% rating in doing so. I can recommend several shipping companies. For a shipping quote, my Zip Code is 98273. Please e-mail me with any questions.

If you dont think the corporate goons at your local cookie cutter bank will loan you the money for thispre 1986 vehicle then your probably right, because they dont know Jack Squataboutanything other than a used Prius. I've had good luck with JJ Best when financing Classic cars. They work hand in hand with world renowned Hagerty Insurance Co. Just a suggestion.
