1965 Chevrolet Biscayne 427 2dr Post, Pretty Nice Receation of one of the 60's full sized muscle cars, Yes its got the real deal 427 in her backed by a 4speed trans, hooked to a 12 bolt diff, with steelly wheels. Body has been mostly rust free, some small repairs to right rear quarter panel. but that looks to be it, has a very nice undercarraige no signs of rust and invery nice shape. I have diven this car and drive just like it should, gears are a little short for the hwy speeds of 70 mph all day but short trips ok, but if you want to do 50 to 55 mph you can go all day. As we did on our last trip with the car more than 400 miles oneway with out any issue at all, exept starter failed less than 100 miles from home, and we just bumpped started it no problem, good driver and its very fast. Well now to the engine this is a true 427 the best I can figure has a casting number of 3963512 with build date of L1 8 making it a 69 COPO 427 I beleive, it has a pair of GM winters snowflake heads on the egnine, I have not removed the valve covers for casting numbers or date codes on these heads, it also has the original. snowflake intake. Making this a faily rare engine. Interior in good shape throughout, glass is good allround, radio is not working should be easy fix.
Or I’m willing to take it to Detroit Mi. Or Buffalo N.Y by trailer or under its own power to be shipped by your shipping company for the cost of the import broker and fuel. Or just come drive or trailer it home yourself, and its a piece of cake for yourself to import back into the USA. I can store till June or so in its current location free of charge, as long as it’s paid for. don’t know if I made it clear but this is a real nice 45 year old car.
