As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2004 Audi A4 3.0L Quattro AWD Convertible has mainly sustained a light front end damage. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs excellent and we are able to drive it around our lot. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Looks like it was a high hit to the center grille area and nearly missed the bumper assembly which is mostly in tact. Front rails are straight. No suspension damage. Only the passenger airbag is deployed which can be obtained from car-part website for a few bucks. Source of many junk yard parts across the country.Again, the car starts, engine runs great, and we're able to drive it around within our lot. Overall, should be an easy fixer without much parts needed and with some effort it'll be a very nice convertible. Many used parts can be found for this car at car-part website or here on ebay. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
