You are bidding on one of the cleanest 1970 AMC Hornets to be found anywhere.
This car spent most of it's life in a garage in Florida and was not driven very much by it's previous owner.
I purchased the car with the intentions of pulling the 6 cylinder out, dropping in a V8 and turning it into a pro touring car. (talk about daring to be different)
After hearing"Youneed to leave it alone" by so many others I have decided to do just that. It's all original, numbers matching with just one re-paint.
It has brand new tires, rebuilt carb, new shocks, andnew strut rod bushings.
The interior was in the car when I purchased it and it's like new.
There is no rust or bondo issues with the car and the underneath still has original paint on the floor boards. (see pics)
Themotor runs like a top and the transmission shifts perfect.
All chrome and stainless is in nice shape with the front bumper having a small ding.
All the lights andgauges work as they should.
The only thing I can think of that the car needs is a new exhaust pipe (not muffler)
and front end alignment since the new strut rod bushings were installed.
