We have two of these in stock, one is built on a 2011 chassis, but this one is brand new, both originally began life as SSCamaroconvertibles just like at the factory, then amoviestudio commissioned two customizing body men/movie prop artisans to design and clone a 1977 Trans Am by using original parts from a 1977 Trans Am blended into the Camaro, about 6 months work from these two craftsman went in to the endeavor, but the result is an astonishing futuristic version of what the Bandit would have driven in 2018. This car has a full factory warranty, and has no performance modifications, and just had its first oil change at a local Chevy dealership here in Florida. Trust us, the 6.2 liter v-8 with an 8 speed automatic transmission make this vehicle fast enough! It is fully loaded with all kinds of power options, black leather with red stitching, apple car play, wi-fi hot spot,smart key, and really too many options to list. It has mostly been driven to movie shoots within the southeastern United States. As you can see, the fender inlets have been altered to blend in with the fenders but these are original 1977, as well as the front bumper cover and hood scoop. The trans am tail fin and rockers, AS WELL AS THE CUSTOM HONEYCOMB 22 INCH WHEELS, really set the trans am mood! This is NOT the car built by the other Trans Am specialists in Florida. This car really does exist, is for sale and no need for anorderto be placed. Call it a retro-mod, a movie prop, whatever you want, but one thing is for certain, these cars simply do not exist anywhere, there is no doubt they are only going to significantly increase in value. For about the same price as a decked out Camaro, you can drive a true exotic that literally snaps heads backwards and drops jaws everywhere it goes. Seriously folks, if you want a low profile, this is NOT the car to drive, this stunning dream car creates non-stop attention, We took it to lunch today, parked right next to a new Lamborghini and were so bombarded with people asking for photos, and all about the car that we couldn’t even eat lunch; The poor $300000 Lamborghini was basically ignored! We can NOT comment on the movie , in fact, we do not even know the name or the stars in this movie, and have had only limited contact with the studio managers in Clearwater Florida. The movie aside, once it is sold, you will be owning a piece of history that simply will be a thrill to own. In a true act of sympathy, and respect for Burt, the movie studio is not profiting from the sale of this vehicle and will loose about half of theirinvestment. The true retail value of this car will certainly exceed the asking price and will of course only continue to rise UNLIKE many other muscle car investments.
