In 2011, Ford produced 5100 units of the Shelby GT500. Of that 5100, approximately .006% or a total of 33 units, were produced in this particular color and equipment combination. This car is 1 of 33. It is done in Grabber Blue, with white SVT stripes.
The car is equipped with the SVT performance pak option, as well as the electronics pak option. Electronics pak includes the upgraded touch screen stereo, with Navigation as well as the juke box option and DVD player. Audio and phone controls in steering wheel. Interior is done is Black Alcantra leather and suede, with white seat stripes to match the car. The stock shift handle has been replaced with the Hurst straight shift handle. The Hurst shift handle is topped with the Ford Authentic Shelby GT 500 shift ball. The stock shift knob will be included in the sale. Included in the interior is also the Shelby VIN identification plate for the dash, complete with Carroll Shelby Auto Signature. This piece is NOT INCLUDED when the vehicle is ordered and purchased. Factory floor mats, and the original owners manual with all factory booklets are included in sale. Matching factory pedal dead pedal has been installed.
Under the hood, the engine from the factory is rated at 550 horsepower. The The factory prop rod has been removed in favor of hood struts. Factory prop rod will be included in the sale.The drive train is stock, with the exception of the recently added (less than 500 miles ago) McLeod dual disc high performance clutch. This clutch is buttery smooth, but will accept up to 1000 horsepower, so there is plenty of room for modification, should you choose to do so. Clutch was professionally installed by Voss Performance in Fullerton, well known for his Mustang work. Brand new battery was just installed.
On the exterior of the car, both side scoops, and rear window scoops have been added. Both have been custom painted to match the Grabber Blue exterior. Scoops can easily be removed, should the new owner choose to do so. All light lenses have been done in smoked tint. Currently, the wheels on the car are authentic Shelby Razor Rims, done in gunmetal gray. The gunmetal gray Razors are very hard to find. They are wrapped in Toyo Plus 4\'s done in 20 inch all around. Window tint professionally done.
The title papers on the car are currently in possession of Ford Motor Credit Corporation. As soon as the vehicle sells, payoff payment will be immediately sent to Ford Motor. The title paperwork will be sent to the new owner immediately upon receipt, by their choice of carrier.
As you can hopefully tell, this car has been babied and garaged full time.
I purchased this vehicle as a Certified Pre Owned from the dealership. As such, it has remaining extended warranty on it, which will cover it into 2018.
