Up for sale is my 2004 Mercury Marauder in the rare Dark Toreador Red color. Less than 1000 of these cars were made in this color!
The car overall is very clean inside and out. Completely stock other than stainless steel brake hoses. Runs and drives beautifully, and has never seen salt as it is covered from November to April. I\'m the third owner, prior to me buying it at 180k miles it was always garage kept. I only put the best quality parts on this car when needed and was religious about maintenance with full synthetic fluids.
-New Remanned Engine - engine has 7000 miles on it and was replaced in July 2017. Have receipts.
-When engine was replaced, new plugs, belt, motor mounts, rad hoses installed.
-Body/Trans have 202,6xx miles on them, but you wouldn\'t know by looking at it or by how it drives.
-Rear was rebuilt by Ford for the previous owner at 175k miles, have receipts.
-New tires still have 9/32nds of tread. Nitto Motivos
-Drilled/Slotted front rotors and ceramic pads. Brakes have 6/32nds wear all around (fine for another year of driving)
-Interior is clean, minor wear on the front leather seats but not torn up. Rear seat is like new.-Heated seats work great-6 disk CD changer in the trunk from the factory.-Factory Sunroof works well.
-Factory exhaust is still on the car and is still clean, since this car didn\'t get driven during winter.
-Factory wheels are in great shape, not scuffed up.-Nitto Motivo tires all around have great tread, less than 10k miles driven on them-Car is inspected in PA
-Paint shines when cleaned and detailed, but does have numerous small chips from highway driving. Roof should be stripped and repainted as there is one section where the paint lifted and i had to clean it up and apply touch up paint. Picture of affected area is shown, it is approximately 2\" long. Problem area hasn\'t spread at all in over a year.
-Engine ticks when cold. I\'ve taken it to two mechanics (Ford dealer and personal mechanic) and they both said that these engines are just known for it and to just drive it.
-Front door bushings should be replaced as there\'s a little bit of sag there. They still open, close, and lock without issue, just a little thing that bothered me.
-Sometimes squeaks going over bumps, appears to be a bushing in the front end that needs to be lubricated, everything is still tight though per inspection by Ford dealer.-Some interior door control LEDs are out, all functions still work flawlessly.

-15mpg city, 20mpg highway in my experience. 93 octane Sunoco fuel only.
This is a solid, adult-owned car that has been pampered in the years that I\'ve owned it. I invite potential buyers set up a time to come look at and drive the car, as it drives 100% and the interior is in great shape.
