The Gorgeous 2003 Red Metallic 50th Anniversary Corvettes tend to look a lot alike on EBAY but there are a couple of important differences that are not immediately recognizable:
1) 80% of the car’s, including mine, came with the upgraded Delco IN DASH AM/FM STERIO W/12 DISC CD PLAYER. However, 20% (the earlier production cars) had the older less desirable IN DASH AM/FM CASSETTE PLAYER! The ones with the outdated cassette players later added a “6 DECK CD CHANGER IN THE TRUNK” and that is how they are generally advertised disguising the unpleasant fact that they have a cassette deck in the dash. Maybe you have some old cassettes you’ve been dying to bring out and play, but if you are like the rest of us you would prefer the convenience of having the superior sound of the CD changer in the dash, not buried in your trunk. A couple 50th Anniversary cars currently on EBAY have that old in dash Cassette Player with the CD changer in the trunk.
2) Some buyers of the 2003 Red Metallic 50th Anniversary Corvettes, including I, upgraded their car’s Exhaust System to the LS1 recommended CORSA, a $1250 system which provides enhanced performance and superior sound while muffling the noise that enters the passenger compartment. Mine is one of only a couple currently on EBAY that has this highly desirable and valuable upgrade. I will also include the original exhaust which is like new in the sale.
Finally, I appreciate the EBAY offers of $22,000 and $22,500 that I received today but the car is worth more even without the upgraded CORSA exhaust. I will continue to entertain offers, however, and will gladly terminate the listing if the right one comes in. Thank you and God Bless America!

Just had the car serviced this week by the Corvette pros at Legends Luxury Auto Repair shop in Tempe, Arizona. Danny went over it with a fine tooth comb and says it drives perfect, like new. Installed an OEM Delco 48 month battery. Car just had a major service at 19,000 miles. She shouldn’t need anything but oil changes (which I do once a year) and wax jobs for several years.
