PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION, THANK YOU.I have for sale a very nice 1999 Cadillac SLS that I have owned for about a year. Only 55k miles. I do like to drive it once in awhile so safe to say it will be something under 56k miles. Prior to my ownership it was owned by one single person, the proverbial little old lady (literally: small, not young and female), and was always garaged. All service was kept up with at Cadillac dealers from new. Drives fantastic - buttery smooth, quiet, and has a lot of power. I think of it as the American Lexus. Everything works on this car - air conditioning, all lights inside and out (yes even the lights in the buttons on the steering wheel - when was the last time you saw that?), power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power seats, trunk release, fuel door release, heated seats, CD player, etc. I have not checked if the tape deck works because I would need to dig through boxes in the basement just to find a tape, but I would bet it does. There is no rust. I have included photos of each body panel. The paint shines up beautifully as you would expect of a car kept indoors all its life, however there are a few imperfections I need to point out: There is a dent on the lower part of the front passenger door, below the molding, towards the front. There are some smaller dings at the front edge of the hood, above the passenger side headlight, along with a couple scratches on that same headlight housing. The lights still work fine. I'm not an expert but these all appear to be from a single incident of lightly bumping something. There is also one larger ding in the same general area, on the leading edge of the hood, also on the passenger side. This has been touched up. Finally a couple corners of the bumper covers have scuffs and chipped paint from apparent incidents of "parking by feel". It is surface damage only and could easily be sanded smooth and touched up by someone who knew what they were doing. Touch up paint is available color matched in spray cans online. All in all these do not detract much from the great looks of this car, as you can see.Passes state inspection with no issues. Tires are excellent. 16" aluminum wheels are in beautiful condition. Original carpeted floormats have had clear rubber mats over them, so they are in great condition. A couple of the clear mats have some discoloring from age, so any flooring that appears "orange" in the pictures is just that top mat. Some of the pics were taken with all mats removed to show the excellent condition of the carpeting. Absolutely gorgeous interior with beautiful Zebrano wood trim. Dash is excellent. Headliner is excellent. Leather seats, armrests and door panels are all excellent. Minor creasing on the driver seat as you would expect of leather, no rips or splits. The car has never been smoked in and smells nice. Note there are matching patterned inserts in the seats and the door panels that have a subtle "design" to them. It can look odd in pictures, like there is something on the leather, but no, that is just the design. I have both sets of original keys to the car, including Valet keys and roadside assist medallions, but just one factory remote (works perfect). There are so many thoughtful touches on this car - here's a partial list:-Choice of speedometer displays, digital or analog (or both)
-"Night Panel" mode where all but basic info goes dark in the gauge panel (shown in pics)
-The vent underneath the steering wheel - why don't car makers do this anymore?
-Built in (but removeable) trash can on the passenger side
-Storage compartment with lid located within the glovebox door
-Two level storage under the armrest, with two felt lined "buckets" with handles in the deeper compartment
-A closeable compartment hidden at the very bottom of the deeper compartment (so I guess it's really three level storage)
-Three maplights instead of the usual two
-Small storage compartments in the rear doors (the size of ashtrays)
-Dual cupholders that fold out behind the shifter
-Dual cupholders that fold out from the rear center armrest
-Storage inside the rear armrest
-Vents and climate controls for rear passengers
-Four heated seats
-Power Lock buttons on all 4 doors (never seen that before)
-Trunk opens all the way when released
-Two level enclosed storage compartment within the righthand side trunk wall
-Plaque showing how to fit 4 golf bags in the trunk
-Fuel door releases both on the dash and on the remote (another thing I've never seen before)
-Polished quad exhaust outletsThe car is very reliable, runs amazingly well, and I would happily drive it anywhere there are roads. The battery is fairly new, and one thing I really appreciate about this car is that it can sit for weeks at a time and still fire up instantly. One thing I hate is a vehicle that goes dead. I am a private owner, not a dealer, and the only reason I am selling this car is that my wife and I each have new cars, plus a family SUV, plus a family minivan, plus a couple "toy" cars so space is at a premium already but making it worse is the fact we will soon be moving to an area more "in town" and it is proving difficult to find houses with large enough garages in that area :^(As you can see from my feedback I am an honest seller and I would like to have a hassle-free transaction. I am willing to assist in any way I can if you choose to have the car shipped, as far as being flexible to meet the transport truck, etc. however you would be responsible for arranging and paying for the shipping. I am located pretty much in the middle of the USA so access is great for most of the country. There is a $500 deposit by PayPal due within 24 hours of purchase, and the balance is to be paid in cash, green American. Any offer to purchase is an agreement to these terms.Feel free to ask any questions using the blue "Ask Seller a Question" link found within this listing.THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.
