The high bidder will receive the pictured 1991 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. It has just over 71,000 original miles... I put 72,000 miles in the listing because I will be driving some over the next week since I’m selling it.
VIN # 1G2FW23FXML215267
The things that I know are wrong with it:1. The paint is pretty rough2. The leather is dried out and cracked3. The dash pad is cracked4. The passenger’s power window does not work, but I have a new GM window motor that will be included5. The headlights do not go up and down6. The T-Tops leak a little, but really not that bad7. Rear hatch supports need replaced8. Horn does not work9. Left front sway bar end link bushing is bad
What I’ve done to the car:1. New battery2. New rear wheel cylinders and have bled all four corners3. Has Stainless Steel Brake Corporation (SSBC) Front grooved rotors that were Cadmium plated to reduce rusting4. Installed a MSD 6AL Ignition Control with Rev Limiter5. Installed a SLP 2 7/8” Cat Back Exhaust System6. Installed a TPIS Throttle Body Airfoil7. Previous owner converted the AC to R-134A and it works well... I’ve never added refrigerant to it as long as I’ve owned it
Mechanically the car is sound... it runs great, shifts great, cruise control, power mirrors, rear hatch pull down and rear window defogger all work. The car vibrates a little going down the road, but it’s probably the tires since it’s sat in the same place for the last two years. I do have the front GTA emblem, it fell off when I washed the car. I have owned the car for 14 years and have only changed the oil with Mobil 1 Synthetic.
What else I’ll be including:1. New GM front air dam2. New GM side skirt, left I think3. New GM passenger window motor4. New GM driver’s headlight door5. GM Techline Service Bulletins from 20026. Diacom Diagnostic Software and Hardware7. A new set of Stainless Steel Brake Corporation (SSBC) Performance Brake Pads
Payment should be by cashiers check or cash before delivery of vehicle.
