1987 Monte Carlo SS
I am selling this 1987 Monte Carlo for a friend of mine’s wife. My friend died about a year ago. I have some personal information on this carand info from his wife. I will try andlist everything I know and will answer any questions.
The car was painted approximately three years ago over a rust-free bodyusing Dupont base/clear. The paint isvery nice, but not trailer quality. Allnew weather stripping including whiskers.A complete SS decal package was installed over the clear. The car is a true SS.
The interior was done after it was painted. Car has new seat covers withnew foam, new carpet, new door panels, new sun visors. The dash is excellent. All gauge’s work including the Tac. All lights work including interior, truck,and hood.
New tires, new battery and new AC compressor. The AC does blow but not cold. I don’t know if he installed the compressoror got sick before finishing.
The original 305 was rebuilt a few years ago but I don’t know any of thedetails. I know the engine runs great,starts easy, and has plenty of power, oil pressure, etc.
This car is an excellent driver and shows very well. My friend spent a lot of money on a car thathe knew he would never get his money back, but he didn’t restore the car toresell.
