Re-listing due to a non paying eBay member. I would vent, but it doesn\'t change anything...so here we go again. I may contact you if you have the high bid and the reserve is met to ensure the bid is confirmed.

I am listing this exceptional, lowproduction number (547), low mileage (41K), original 1987 Buick GNX (GrandNational Experimental). It has not beenmodified and was the fastest American made production car inthe 80s due to ASC/McLaren\'s turbo power upgrade. This car is on every auto industry’s list as the “best ofthe eighties”.

One the most recognizable and most desirable Buicks ofall time. The demand was so high thatsome dealerships were selling them for $60K in 1987! It is factory correct/original and is believed to be the manufacturer recall paint (I was told it was repainted by the dealership due to well known orange peel paint issues in 87\') witha mirror reflection. This is a lowowner vehicle (3) and has always been in a loving collectors’ possession.

The GNX was the fastest productioncar made in America in 1987. It was faster than the Corvette and the GrandNational. It also beat the Ferrari and the Porsche that year (I found this online).

There are 547 GNXs out there (actually less if you want to be technical), butthis one exceeds in quality.

I have been selling on eBay for 20years (1998) with a perfect 100% customer feedback rating, specializing inselling a few high end and very rare vehicles.Bid with confidence and know that this vehicle is as advertised. I critique any vehicle I sell as if I was buying it and will take the time to discuss any specific questions with anyone who has questions.

This unrestoredsurvivorcar isnear perfectionin quality andcorrectness. Simply an amazing $41K mileage GNX.

With all thespeculationofan all new redesigned Grand National and GNX possible, these will be sure tofollow a pattern like the 05/06 Ford GT and the release of the new 2017 Ford GTspike in valuations. If the new 2019 GN\'s disappointment, thenthese will be even more desirable!

The GNX models willnever increase in number and many have disappeared, some have had major mods, a some have been in accidents, many have highermileage and some are hidden away in personal collections. There is absolutely no doubt that thesewill skyrocket in price in the next few years. Historically speaking, I am the demographic that loves thisvehicle and not unlike the cars from the 60’s and 70’s…the 80’s kids aregetting older and \"I Believe\" this is \"The Most\" desirable car of the eighties. You will not find a list (of 80’svehicles) that doesn\'t include the GNX (fastest, coolest, most rare). Asimilar GNX went for $165K in Kissimmee (2017) and #547 went for $225K less thana year ago.

This GNX has no modsandwas never raced! I went to see it with my own eyes and that the condition was inline with my standards (if you are going to spend this typeof money, you want to make sure it meets your standards). It didn’t disappoint and I bought itonsite immediately with cash.

There are NO stress cracks or twisting of the frame which is aneasy indicator that the car may have been raced or abused.

The original spare is inthe trunk and was never removed. The original jack assembly has been untouched as well.

THIS GNX IS FULLY LOADEDWITH EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE: ice cold air conditioning, power windows, power locks,6-way power seats, tilt wheel, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, automatic trunk release, rear defroster, concert sound II, the Stewart Warner round gauge package, upgraded suspension and upgraded power. It also comes with all theoriginal documentation, including the originalwindow sticker.

It isbelieved to have an approvedfactory repaint (Buick had a well-known recall on paint and approved local dealers to repaint) and was detailed toa mirror reflection . *Disclaimer, this vehicle had been buffed (prior to me owning it) and there are a couple of small areas where the detailer thinned the paint. It is barely noticeable and you have to really inspect the vehicle to even see them, but I am a perfectionist and want to ensure I annotate any flaw (no matter how minuscule). I had to decide whether to keep the original paint or have the best paint shop in Iowa repaint it. I decided to leave the paint original in case the winning bid preferred it that way. I did, discount the vehicle $10K because of this fact, but wanted to give the new owner the power to choose.

This vehicle was neversmoked in, never had pets in it, has never had food in it and has never seen snow.

This is a highlydocumented 41,000-mile car and has the original, numbers matching factory engine. It has a clean and clear title.

It has an immaculateundercarriage!

Please feel free to view in person. You must see it with the naked eye in direct sunlight to truly appreciate how amazing it looks! I tried to take pictures that showed the highly reflective paint.

Restoration is not cheapand parts are hard to find, if not impossible!!

The GNX is straight asan arrow with NO unwanted sideways pull.Equal and factory correctdoorgaps, hood gaps, trunk gaps throughout. The badging is all in excellent originalcondition and is factory correct.

Two amazing facts. Most people viewing this are already GN and GNX experts and know the chronic issues with these vehicles. The bumper fillers on this vehicle were replaced and there are NO CRACKS. And yes, the power antenna still works, which is a rarity!

Upholstery, no rips or wear. The front and back seats look factory new and the dash has no cracks.

I suggest that you takethe time and research the internet on prices. Not just eBay, but other sitesand auctions as well. The highselling points of this vehicle are the original numbersmatching engine, immaculate original interior, the year, the options, the low mileageand the low production number. Vehicle investors know that low miles increase value, but it is also asimportant how the vehicle was maintained. A some GNXs may have less than $10K miles, but they will bein worse shape because they sat, while the enginesfluids rot.

Thisis a low owner GNX and the previous collectors kept it wellmaintained and drove the vehicle (an average of 1,300 miles a year).

NADA appraises GNXs for$62K for the low retail value, $94k for the average retail value and $132K forthe high retail value, BUT they have been going from $165-$225K at the auctionsas mentioned before.

The GNX held 12.7second, 113.1 mph quarter mile times that beat the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 930Turbo that year.

There were 547 GNXs madein 1987, the FIRST/LAST/ONLY YEAR! Most desirable and collectible, because of the extremely low production numbers! I relate it to the Yenko limited editions of the 60s and weall know how much those go for now!

This GNX has only seenminutes of daylight since I have owned it, mostly for pictures. It is alwayscovered up with the #1 rated, breathable car cover on the market, to preventdust from settling on it. Itspends all its time in a temperature controlled garage.

WHATMISSING PARTS TO WATCH FOR ON OTHER GNXs(whichthis car does have): GNX rims, original stereo, good bumper fillers, power antenna and documentation. This car is missing nothingbut a new home.

I took high definitionpictures and could only post 24 (I have many more). Ichose the most important pictures, but am willing to send any additionalpictures you’d like to see. If yousee this GNX in person, you will buy it immediately, just like I did.

I am also selling thislocally and retain the right to sell it early and end the auction. I have set the reserve lower to allow for a $10K repaint (which is not needed, but used as an incentive).

I will not sell the vehicle to anyoneelse once the vehicle reaches the reserve. Don’t let this one escape. Trust me, I have missed out on a few rarities trying to savea few thousand dollars and I am still “sick-to-death” over making those poordecisions.

I also reserve the right to end the auction early (which I assume will happen) if an acceptable offer comes in. It will also be advertised locally and nationally.

$2000 deposit can bemade by PayPal or wire transfer within 24 hours. The remaining balance must be paid by wire transfer orcash. No exceptions (so pleasetake note of this prior to bidding!) Blame thescammers because they have ruined everything. I also do not need assistance in selling this vehicle, soplease don’t contact me in those regards.

The winning bidder is responsiblefor shipping costs and the GNX is sold \"AS IS\".

This GNX is located inDes Moines Iowa and is easy to find and will be easy to load or drive home in.

This is an opportunityfor you to own your dream car or make a sound investment (way more secure thanthe stock market and way higher returns on investment).

As a final note: please familiarize yourself on thehistory of Buick Grand Nationals, check NADA pricing, historic values onBarrett Jackson/Mecum, check other vehicles on eBay, Autotrader and othersites. Why would I share this? Because this vehicle is far superior (whichhelps me) and an educated buyer is a confident/happy buyer (which helpsyou). I am very confident in myreserve and I am also very confident that you will be overjoyed to own thispristine classic at very good price. As mentioned above, the reserve is well below the price itshould be!

If you have any questions regarding the GNX (no solicitations please) call 515-661-7277

On Sep-21-18 at 11:45:40 PDT, seller added the following information:

WARNING**Someone has taken my pictures from eBay and placed a scam Craigslist ad in Baltimore, Maryland.** This is not me and please do not be fooled!!! You may contact me for any additional pictures or FaceTime in real time as I am the owner and have possession of this vehicle.
There are only two GNX\'s for sale online right now (I have done very, very in-depth research). The GNX is very rare and you have to be very cautious when it comes to scam artists. They are trying to steal your money. Please note my 20 years on eBay and my perfect (100%) feedback score.
Thank you to the eBay member that pointed it out to me, as I would have never known. We have to protect each other!
