Here's a terrific survivor with only 52,100 miles on the odometer. It's a 1983 Cadillac Seville with all the "bling" that was offered in that year sedan. It has been stored indoors for the entire time it's been in our possession, and hasn't been driven in snow or salt in the time we've owned it. It starts, runs and drives absolutely fine, and goes down the road like you're riding on a satin pillow. V8 engine is an HT4100 with digital fuel injection.This car has all the bells and whistles, including the Cadillac upgraded grill option that added $2,500 to the original sticker price. It also has new tires and battery. We're told that the AC was converted to 134A refrigerant – it blows, but not cold. The car also has new struts on the hood and trunk. It does need paint. As was the case with most cars of that era, the paint has a spider web look to it but the metal is rust free. It appears to have had slight hail damage on the hood, where a couple of pock marks are visible. The chrome is all in excellent condition, and the mock convertible top looks like new.Shifting linkage has a worn plastic bushing that needs to be replaced. Currently, it's necessary to move the shift lever just slightly past the normal point of engagement for it to engage properly.The interior is spotless with plush velvet seats and spot-free shag carpet. All the instruments are digital, and work as they should.
