Up for sale is a really nice one owner 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This was purchased from the original owner and I have all the correct documentation to back it up which includes Window Sticker, Originalsales invoice, Pre delivery papers and even loan papers. This car has been stored inside for 90% of its life. It has 50,000 original miles and drive like a low mileagecar. Drives straight and tight with no noises. Everything works as it should. The A/C has a slow leak. You can charge the system and it will last for a couple of months. Blows ice cold when charged. I have 3 cans of R12 that will be included in the sale. Heater works great. Interior is in immaculatecondition. Headliner has began to come loose in spots but this is the only thing inside that will need attention. Power windows work great and T tops seal good and do not leak. Car still has the original spare tire and inflatorand has original T top storage bags in the trunk. There are only two things not original to car - Ceramiclong tube headers and the wheels. The original owner bought the car at a local Dealership (Thompson Sales, Springfield, Mo) and took the car straight to a local wheel place and installed a set of Appliance DIA MAG wheels which were a custom version of the originals. Wheels are in excellent condition and still have the Dot stickers on them. I even have the sales brochure in the glove box. The paint is not perfect. There are some chips from the tires as seen in the pictures. It is ok for being the original problematicfactory paint from that time period. The car is completelyrust free. If you have been looking you will not find a cleaner original car with all the paper work and documentation. This car is very reliable and is ready for car shows and cruises. Features:
