This is a superb ONE OWNER frame up restored and converted 1978 280Z in excellent condition all around!! I am a Z collector and recently acquired this car from the widow of the original owner who also commissioned the LS1 V8 conversion.This original west coast car has been so loved and meticulously maintained by 1 proud owner and it totally shows!! Incredibly documented history... 58000 original miles at the time of the resto and roughly 5000 added since then. This investment quality Z Looks runs and drives AMAZING with tasteful and professional 400Hp LS1 conversion! Aside from the conversion, the car is a total sleeper retaining a showroom fresh appearance. Original looking interior including ultra rare working clock, unused spare and tools, etc. all in excellent condition. This is a top quality investment grade Z and would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, show car or addition to any collection. No disappointments!! Pics tell the story here... None Nicer at this price!The body is LAZER straight with no collision damage whatsoever. Rust Free Car was dismantled and stripped to bare metal and received a first quality Re-Paint in correct Datsun Silver Metallic during the resto... it presents beautifully with only the most minor blemishes... I'm picky and I would call the paint "show quality"... it has been driven so I won't say perfect but close as it gets!! Frame, floors, and chassis are super solid! Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.The interior is totally fabulous as well... panels, carpet, and seats all look perfect... dash has a full face molded cover. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly, including the clock! LS1 motor and T56 6 speed came from a 2000 trans am with 21000 miles...has some performance mods... starts idles and runs fantastic... tuned perfectly and FAST! The car has great power... 6- speed Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension was completely disassembled coated and reassembled... feels tight and provides excellent ride and all new brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable. Fully documented service history... no skimping!!Overall this is a really cool Classic Z in Superb condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes an Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
