1975 Mercury Comet - 2Dr, 302 V8, C4 Trans, K VIN number Pink slip in hand. Good body, glass, poorupholstery, wheels are 2005 Mustang alloys. The body paint is original andpolish will bring it back. The car has passed all CA Brake and LightingCertifications. No smog needed....
Car runs, drives and stops good. The engine is a mild build with Crane highlift roller rockers, 600cfm Edelbrock carb and manifold. Has new Heddmanheaders, H pipe and flowmasters, needs completion.
New battery. The drive shaft has new u-joints. The gas tank is new, sendingunit and tank seals are new. New brake flex lines and the brake pads and rearshoes are new. The power brake booster, master cylinder, rear wheel cylindersand rear shocks are new. New power steering hoses. Front discs and rear drumslook very good. New alternator and mechanical fuel pump and has fuel new hoses.New power steering control valve (the power steering unit).
There is some rust in the lower right quarter panel and lower left door. Thepan is good. Haven\'t gotten the gas gauge to work yet.
I have been working on this a long time, but can\'t continue. This car has greatpotential, but needs a new lover.....
