This has been my joy for the last 33 years. Thought one of my daughters would want this car, soI\'vespent the last 7 months getting her ready, but they would rather have something newer. It\'s finally time to let someone else own her. I have done all the work myself on this car since I bought her back in 1985. I rebuilt the engine at 56,000 miles. The engine was re-bored .010\" oversized and was fitted with new pistons, rings, and valve springs. I had her repainted the exact color (laurel green) about 8 years ago, took the body all the way to bare metal and re-primed, then re-chromed the bumpers. Replaced steering wheel and shift knob with MOMO mahogany.Replaced the wooden dash, dash crash pad, and windshield.Replaced the wiring harness 5 yrs ago.Replaced vinyl soft top.Rides on redlineMichelin-X tires. I neglected to drive her for the last 2 1/2 years, and when I fired her up the brakes and clutch had frozen up and both float valves on the carbs stuck open. (Thank you ethanol).
So in just the last 7 months I have replaced the following;Front and rear brake caliper seals, brake pads, rotors, and brake lines.Rebuilt both carbeurators.Rebuilt fuel pump and installed aux. fuel filter.Drained all fuel, then replaced fuel sending unit and seals in tank.Rebuilt clutch with Roadster Factory heavy duty clutch, throw out bearing and clutch fork.Replaced transmission seals and shaft seals while clutch was removed and changed trans. oil.Rebuilt brake master cylinder, re-filled with synthetic fluid.Rebuilt clutch master cylinder and replaced slave cylinder, and throw-out rod, re-filled synthetic.Replaced battery a year ago.Replaced plugs, points, condenser.Changed oil and filter, (it has a spin on filter adapter).Replaced air filters.
I have the tonneau cover for the cockpit and the \"boot\" cover for the top when down.I also have a fiberglass hardtop with a glass rear window that I will throw in to the deal.I will consider a serious offer, but please don\'t waste the energy on a lowball bid please.
