Up for sale we have a 1972 Plymouth RoadRunner. This is a Matching Numbers 340 car that has been restored back to factory specs. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Plymouth, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the RoadRunner. The body has great fit of all the panels with all the gaps also being symmetrical. It's straight down the sides and is covered in the Hemi Orange which is the factory color. The paint has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine, and it's accented by the Black Road Runner Stripes. This '72 has the painted dual sport mirrors and RoadRunner hood. All the chrome and stainless is in great condition, but it's not new. Also, the glass is all very nice and has had new weather stripping and seals installed. To finish off the ride it's sitting on a set of Factory Rallyes with BFG Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '72. On the inside, it's done in the black with the bench seats, which is the factory combo for it. The seat covers are like new and the padding is great! Also, the door panels are done in black and have the wood grain accent. Looking at the dash you will see it also features the wood grain accents with the dash pad appearing to have been replaced. It has the 150 Speedo and round instrument cluster. The carpet and seal plates look like new, and the headliner is older but still in good condition.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it's all painted the correct with the inner fenders and firewall being done in body color. It features the matching numbers 340 engine that's mated to the matching numbers 727 Trans and a 8 " Rear End. The 340 is set up with the '72 model intake and the Carter Thermoquad Carburetor. It's dressed in the stock style air breather and painted valve colors. For exhaust, it has manifolds with duals and Raptor Mufflers. To keep it cool the radiator has been upgraded to Aluminum. For brakes, it has disc on the front and drums out back. Also, it came with Power Steering. When you look under this RoadRunner all the floors appear rock solid.

Mileage
Unless the car is advertised as an original Mileage car do not assume that the Mileage/Odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.
Terms & Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, please ask! Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
