Thank you for viewing my 1972 Nova. I purchased the car in 2009 from the Nova Guy.This is a driver, not a show car.I have the Protect-O-Plate, the original sales invoice, the broadcast sheet and thewindow sticker for the car.
The paint is probably 7 out of 10. It has some small rust bubbles in the lowerparts of the front fenders and doors. I have found some filler in the rear quartersbehind the rear wheels. The tail panel had some rust that I repaired in 2010. Iplanned to have all the rust fixed and the car painted but I heard too many storiesof cars stuck in paint jail that I never had it done.The trunk does not leak. All the glass is in good shape. It all appears original tome except the windshield.The vinyl top is in very good condition with no rips or tears.The bumpers have been replace with reproduction bumpers.
The front floor pan had a few pin holes in the foot wells. These were epoxied, thepan painted with POR-15 and Dynamat.
The engine block is original to the car. All internal parts were replace in 2009.383 stroker kit added with Eagle cast crank, 9:1 compression ratio. ~360 HP.Edlebrock Performner EPS intake with Holley 670 Street Avenger carb.Heads are aluminum RHS Pro Action #12001 with Comp Magnum roller tiprockers. Valves are 2.02\" intake and 1.60\" exhaust.Valve covers are reproduction LT-1 with a Wagner adjustable PCV valve.Cam is a flat tappet hydraulic, .462 lift intake/.477 exhaust; duration 218 intakeand 224 exhaust.MSD billet distributor with 6AL MSD box.Milodon high volume water pump.7 quart oil pan with kick outs.Hooker long tube header with Magnaflow stainless exhaust pipes.
Radiator is Griffin with dual Spal fans.
Transmission is GM 4L60E with a TCI TCU controller. Torque converter isa 2400 rpm stall TCI with lock up. Pan is a TCI deep pan.
Differential is the original 10 bolt with Auburn posi, 3.23 gears and and TrickFlow cover.
Front suspension has Global West tubular control arms, QA-1 coil overs, AGRquick ratio steering box and 1 1/4\" Suspension Techniques sway bar.
Wheels are Billet Specialties Rallys. 17\"x 8\" rear and 17\"x7\" front. Tiresare BF Goodrich 245\'s rear and 205\'s front.
Interior:Seat covers are reproduction factory type. Morris Concept three point beltshave been added for the front seat. Radio is a Custom Autosound unit with iPodconnection. The car has factory air that works well. The system was rebuilt in2009.
The car is a fairly nice driver. It is using a quart of oil ever 2-300 miles. I thinkit is getting by the valve guides or seals. It also has a leak at the rear main seal.With the AC off it will operate at 180F all day in traffic in our Gulf Coast summers. It has problems keeping temps under control in summer stop and go trafficwith the AC on.
I am selling this car to fund another project. It has issues as stated above. I don\'twant to divert funds from the new project to repair this car. Inspections arewelcome. Please no tire kickers or joy riders.
