We have this 1971 Formula 400 Firebirdin good running and driving condition. The transmission leaks alittle but nothing major. This car has the small block 400 and is atrue formula. Car has after market wheels and tires, the chrome onthe wheels are pitting and will need to be redone to be perfect orjust leave polish and enjoy. The car has a lot of patch work done tothe floors and the trunk. The truck does not have any holes, and thewater was from the trunk seal not sealing right when we washed thecar. We have moved the car to a covered area to help prevent thisfrom happening again. The work was not done the greatest and youwill either need to redo the work to make it a show car, or justenjoy it. The floors and truck are solid, but you can tell the workwas done. The fenders were also changed at one point. We justreplaced the hood hinges as someone closed the hood and damaged theother ones. We have a couple tweaks to make to the hood to make italign better and this will be done before the close of this auction. The paint is showing its age and need some attention to make itperfect again. You can see where the hood has a chip in the paintfrom where someone closed it the wrong way. These cars are gettingharder to find and would make a great car to just drive or evenrestore the proper way and make it perfect. The interior is in okshape, the dash is cracked on the passenger side, and is missing theradio. Car sounds great when running and has dual exhaust, with aEdelbrock carb. There are a couple gauges that do not work, butshould be a easy fix. The RPM does not work and the fuel gauge doesnot work. If you have any questions please contact us before the end of the auction.
