- One of 175 built and one of 25 with a Forest Green, Code 48 exterior, according to Super Chevy magazine. Powered by a COPO LT1 350 engine, a Muncie 4-speed manual, a COPO F41 sport suspension and a 12-bolt differential with a 4.10:1 posi-traction. The vehicle has the correct drivetrain, interior and the correct numbers.
The CE block is 100% date-code correct for a YENKO, same for the Tranny. The most expensive item--the F41 COPO rear end, is ORIGINAL.
As a young man back in the 1950s and 1960s, Don Yenko learned the Chevrolet car and truck industry from his father, a very successful man in the industry. Both Yenkos liked Chevrolet performance, and road racing was Don\'s forte. Knowing how to manipulate the almost unknown factory Central Office Production Order (COPO) program, he first ordered some special \'65 Corvairs, named them Yenko Stingers, and went road racing with customers and friends alike. Today, they are legendary. His name is also legendary in Camaro, Chevelle and Nova camps by creating some of the baddest rides on the streets in the late \'60s.
In 1970, the Clean Air Act of 1970 changed the direction of Yenko\'s creations. This new national legislation, combined with ultra-high-cost performance car insurance woes, made Don Yenko counter with the 1970 LT1 350 cubic inch Yenko Deuce Nova. It was a COPO, and it was advertised as a \"mini muscle car.\" It supposedly flew under the performance car insurance premium radar.
There were only a total of 175 produced in 1970 and only 88 are documented to still exist today. Of those 88, there are only 14 known examples in Forest Green with a 4-speed transmission.
The car features a \"CE\" block LT1 engine, a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, F41 sport suspension and a 12-bolt differential with a 4.10:1 posi-traction. Super Rare \"ATLAS MAGS\" wheels complete the legendary Muscle Car look.
The Deuce is listed in both the Yenko Registry and the Copo Connection Registry. The originating dealer was Yenko Chevrolet in Canonsburg, PA. It was then transferred to and sold new at W.R. Austin Motors in Norwalk CT. Vin is 114270W349789

ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES:
We do charge a $395.00 documentation fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag when applicable, motor vehicle documents and transfers and miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees and Federal Express and US mail charges. This documentation fee also includes profit to the dealership. This fee will not be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are responsible for all state, county and local taxes and fees as well as any registration and title fees applicable in and required by the state in which the buyer will register and title the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for any expenses , tax and fees should they export the car outside of the US. In the event of an out of state sale the buyer is responsible for consulting with their state\'s DMV regarding the requirements for acquiring a temporary driving permit. Nevada law only allows for us to provide a 15 day drive away permit for out of state residents who physically pickup their vehicle. Vehicles shipped out of state will not be provided with a drive away permit. Vehicles sold with Nevada title over 10 years old may show EXEMPT status on the title and will not have the mileage of the vehicle.
