Enjoy the video of this 1970 Chevelle SS 396 here.click on the above sentenceThis is a beautiful Chevelle. Coming from the factory in 1970 as a Cranberry Red car with a black vinyl top, when restored, it was done in full paint instead. A lot of guys prefer that. The car was an original dark red interior car which is not nearly as common as the black interiors. It also came from the factory with black hood and deck stripes. The car was already painted when the owner purchased it, but he redid the interior. The current owner chose to put in the 4 point harnesses at the request of his wife. The original seat belts are in the trunk.
The Vintage a/c works great. The original gauges are all working accept the temp gauge, so an additional set was added under dash. The car arrived without a dome light lens. We have one coming.
The trunk is clean and solid. There is a spare and a jack. The block is not the original. The heads and everything else is. The block code shows it to be a 396 from a 1972 Chevelle. There are actually 2 build sheets. I know this is rare, but one was said to be found over the fuel tank and one in the car inside of the seat.
The original vin tag is in place. The original trim tag is present and untouched. The current said theengine was rebuilt by the previous owner and themileage on the odometer is actual since the rebuild.
The transmission has been rebuilt.
The springs were replaced 5 years ago.Thank you for viewing our ad.
