1970 Javelin SST 360 Mark DonohueEdition

First

Yes, it is a true Big Bad BlueJavelin

Yes, it is the 360 Ram Air Javelin

No, I cannot prove to anyone that itis truly a Mark Donohue Javelin but I believe it to be.

Body

The body on this car is in niceshape, mind you this is a driver car and not a 100 point restoration. The paintshines well, it has imperfections here and there but nothing major for beingpainted many years ago. (Some paint chips mopped in,and some cracks in clear coat) The chrome seemsto all been polished or replaced with new or refurbished. Nice shape overall. 73,000 miles on the car are thought to be actual and is stated on title as actual.

Interior

The interior was all redone usingLegendary interior products in the original black color as it came from thefactory, new seat covers, the fiberglass headliner is up but it needs a newfabric cover, (Simply having the headliner is 99% of the battle) the carpet looks original and the dash pad seems to be in niceoriginal condition as well. It has the rare factory rim blow steering wheel butit is not working presently, there are vendors that restore these steeringwheels to like new condition on the internet.

Engine & Mechanicals

The car runs and drives very well(Again, it’s a driver) it has a new master cylinder, disc brakes (Bendix) wererebuilt recently, factory 4 barrel carb was rebuilt recently as well. It hasits quirks like all nearly 50 year old cars do but nothing major that I know. There is no leaks that I have noticed, I have no info on the motor or trans (If they have been rebuilt or not?) but they both work fine, just took it on a 50 mile ride this past weekend.

It has posi-traction rearbut I do not know the ratio.

The \"P\" in the vin denotes 360 4 barrel which is what this car has.

Quirks

Carb was just rebuilt but idles high.

Brakes were all recently just done but it still does not stop as well as I think it should.

Carb and brake issue is most likely simply a vacuum problem but I refuse to take it back to mechanic that did the work.

Taillights do not seem to work properly \"at times\" (Hate to say it but this Javelin has Gremlins when it comes to the taillights) I would think it is an easy fix.

Overall

I am a honest guy, this would be a great car to buy, drive and restore while enjoying it or if you simply want a car to mess aroundand go to car shows now this could fit your needs too. Again, this is a driver... Not a 100 point restored vehicle so please do not expect it to be that. I recommend anyonebuying any car to look at it or hire someone to look at it in person and I willtry to work with anyone to make this happen.

I have attached as many pictures asEbay allows but if you need to see anything please let me know and I will shootmore photos.
